Description
Responsible for enhancing care quality by establishing improvement processes, monitoring performance, and strengthening documentation. Collaborates with district health services to develop training strategies, supports staff, and ensures readiness for quality certifications.

Digital Bharat Collaborative (DBC), a part of Piramal Foundation, supports the government to transform the public healthcare system by building a robust digital delivery platform that ensures availability and accessibility of quality healthcare for all. Through this, we seek to enhance experiences of citizens in accessing government health services at the last mile.
This role will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Be responsible for overall improvement of quality of care and service delivery at all facilities in the division.
- Ensure timely support in establishing Quality Improvement processes, including the integrity of clinical protocols, medical records, data analysis and its usage.
- Imparting hands-on technical support to Health Functionaries particularly at the Facility level.
- Monitoring the performance of nurses and doctors in facilities in the assigned area, particularly related to maternity, neonatal care, and family planning procedures
- Strengthen clinical documentation and support Divisional Lead in strengthening the process for clinical case reviews.
- Involvement in improving measurement of Inputs, Outputs and Outcomes of the CEmONC programme.
- Eventually, responsible for results in the assigned facilities – in terms of clinical outcomes and Quality of Care in facilities, support PHCs in adopting Quality Control guidelines
- Support the facility staff for quality improvement work and preparedness for various QA certifications.
- Work closely with DHS and colleagues in the district to develop training strategies for functionaries of government programs at all levels, particularly for areas within the mandate of the state.
- Liaison with the facility staff on the field working in close co-ordination with the district team.
Desirable Experience
3-5 years of Experience of working in close collaboration with Government functionaries.
Desirable Qualification
- Medical graduate in allopathy or AYUSH /BDS with minimum of 3 years’ experience in Public Health/Facility OR
- Medical graduate in allopathy or AYUSH/BDS with post graduate degree/diploma Public Health/ Hospital & Health Management OR
- BSc Nursing with minimum 2 years’ experience post BSc / Basic in clinical or mentoring or monitoring mentoring work OR
- MSC Nursing
Essential Skills:
- Able to articulate and communicate well to all stakeholders (both verbally and in writing) in a manner that meets the different needs of different audiences
- Able to read, write and speak in local language at an expert level
- Able to conduct primary and secondary research for identifying the newest trends and incorporate them in program / process approach
