Description

The role involves assessing district hospitals' digitization needs, analyzing data to inform strategic decisions, and recommending suitable technology solutions aligned with hospital objectives. Additionally, the incumbent provides project management support, monitors implementation progress, and evaluates solution performance for continuous improvement.

Business Research Analysts (BRAs) play a crucial role in the district hospital digitization process. They act as the bridge between technology solutions and the specific needs and challenges of healthcare institutions. Their analytical skills, combined with a deep understanding of both business and healthcare domains, enable them to drive informed decision-making and ensure the successful implementation of digitization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Needs Assessment:

    1. S/he shall undertake extensive assessments to understand the district hospitals’ specific requirements, difficulties, and aspirations in terms of digitization and establish a knowledge base of the same.
    2. S/he identifies gaps in current processes and systems that can be addressed through technology solutions.

  2. Data Analysis & Interpretation:

    1. S/he who analyses data pertaining to patient care, hospital operations, resource allocation, and financial indicators and proposes improvement suggestions in order to boost data acceptance and usage.
    2. S/he who Interprets data insights to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, informing strategic decisions.

  3. Technology Evaluation & Recommendation:

    1. Research and evaluate various digital solutions, software platforms, and technologies suitable for district hospital settings.
    2. Recommend appropriate technology solutions that align with the hospital’s objectives, budget constraints, and infrastructure capabilities.

  4. Project Management & Implementation Support:

    1. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones for supporting the digitization initiatives at the chosen District Hospital/s.
    2. Provide ongoing support during the implementation phase, articulating challenges, monitoring progress etc.,

  5. Performance Monitoring & Evaluation:

    1. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of digitization initiatives at the District Hospital/s.
    2. Monitor performance metrics, conduct regular evaluations, and generate reports to assess the impact of implemented solutions and identify areas for further enhancement.

  6. Continuous Learning & Innovation:

    1. Stay updated with the latest trends, advancements, and best practices in healthcare digitization and business analytics.
    2. Drive innovation by exploring new technologies, methodologies, and strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of district hospital operations

Desirable Qualification & Experience 

  1. Bachelors Degree
  2. 3-5 years of experience with proven ability to independently conduct research, analyse data, and draw insights.

Essential Skills:

  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders across technical and operational backgrounds.
