The purpose of this job is to cater the need that arises from different stakeholders for helping them in architecting highly scalable, cost effective and low operational cost IoT Solution and CCTV Surveillance solution.

Job Summary:

The purpose of this job is to cater the need that arises from different stakeholders for helping them in architecting highly scalable, cost effective and low operational cost IoT Solution and CCTV Surveillance solution. This position is responsible for documenting requirements, preparing strategy, making presentations, providing training to stakeholders and developing vendor database that understands our requirements and delivers the required solution. You will act as a consultant for all the stakeholders and will be single point of contact for providing IoT solution and CCTV based Surveillance system   

This role will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Demonstrate a deep knowledge of emerging IoT technology by understanding stakeholders need and architecting  the solution that fulfils the stakeholders need 

  • Provide optimum, scalable and low operation cost solution

  • Lead technical presentations, training and demonstrations to support our internal technology awareness and promote Piramal Foundation’s innovative use of technology in ecosystem

  • Build relationships with technology partners to enhance our technology options  and create a source of expertise that can be used to augment and support our own resources for execution and delivery when needed  

  • Build a strong case for Piramal Foundation’s mission by using appropriate technologies in solving critical problems affecting Govt. service deliveries

  • Share knowledge amongst the team members and bring common understanding  

Desirable Qualification & Experience 

  •   B.E/B.Tech (Instrumentation/Mechanical/Computer/Electronics & Communication/IT)

  • Experience in Embedded Product Development with good understanding of Product Development Life Cycle [System/Hardware/Software] in IoT solutions

  • Understanding of AWS/Azure cloud technologies or on premise server with appropriate data security

  • Nice to have experience of CCTV Surveillance system and understanding of different components – NVR/DVR, IP Camera, VMS, Video Analytics Solution 

  • Good in documentation and communication

Essential Skills: 

  • 8-10 years of experience of architecting IoT solutions in Healthcare, Industrial Automation and Industrial Spaces (Utility/Water/Electricity/Gas) and Knowledge on CCTV Surveillance and Monitoring system

  • Hands on experience in IoT Technology stack

  • Experience in building IoT Application using open source technology stack and understanding of Data security

  • Experience in designing and architecting IoT Solutions that are scalable, high performance and lower in operating cost

  • Experience of latest wireless communication technologies (LoRAWAN, ZigBee, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, SigFox, GSM/GPRS, 3G, 4G etc.)

  • Experience of building real time monitoring systems using IoT Stack for different use cases

  • Experience of identifying suitable sensors that fulfill the requirements

  • Knowledge of CPPlus/Hikvision/Dahua CCTV surveillance and monitoring system

  • Experience of identifying suitable vendors who can custom build / provide off-the-shelf solution that addresses our requirements

  • Experience in documenting requirements, presenting ideas to stakeholders, providing training to stakeholders
